In May 2019, the 600-kilometer-per-hour high-speed maglev test prototype officially rolled off the assembly line in Qingdao, Shandong, unveiling the mystery to the world for the first time. The success of this test run achieved a breakthrough from static to dynamic operation. It not only obtained a large amount of key data, but also initially verified the key performance of the high-speed maglev system and core components, which provided a basis for the development and optimization of the subsequent high-speed maglev engineering prototype vehicle.
