The holding solenoid make the plunger stay at the end position after power is off with the magnetic force of permanent magnet. There are two types of holding solenoids: one-way and two-way self-holding, once power-on, the plunger moves to side of iron core, otherwise, it moves to another side, it is used in electronic locks and charging guns.
